Like PCs, Macs Can Benefit From LOK-IT Encrypted Flash Drive's Security Features

Macs are “not safe from malware, attacks will increase,” says Microsoft in a May 2012 ZDNet article penned by Emil Protalinski. Had it been published a few months earlier, no one would probably buy the statement as many people who have switched from a Windows-based computing device has done so partly because Macs do not get viruses. “The lure of a virtually virus-proof Apple product is strong,” says Chris Warren from Applecture.com. However, like the Windows article, he warned that the increase of Mac users make cybercriminals more interested in developing malware to attack Macs. Consider it a call for Mac users to be more careful in surfing the web, install and update anti-malware software, and use devises such as the safer encrypted flash drive.
